About Me

Mina S. Rasti, MA, LCMHC, NCC

A Real Person Helping Real People Heal

Hi, I’m Mina. I am not just a therapist. I am a human, just like you. I know what it is like to feel lost, to question who you are, to struggle with relationships, and to carry the weight of the past. If you are here, you are probably searching for a space where you can be honest, understood, and supported in a way that finally makes sense. That is exactly what I aim to create.

Therapy with me is not about checklists or textbook answers. It is about real conversations that help you make sense of your experiences in a way that actually resonates. Healing is not about fixing yourself. It is about reconnecting with who you truly are, unlearning what no longer serves you, and giving yourself permission to grow in a way that feels right for you.

Who I Am & Why I Do This Work

I’m a blend of Iranian and Caucasian roots, which means I grew up balancing different cultural expectations while trying to find my own path. That experience shaped the way I see identity, relationships, and the deep need we all have for belonging.

I spent years thinking I had to push through everything alone, believing that if I worked hard enough, I could figure it all out. But life does not work that way. Healing happens when we have the right support, when we allow ourselves to be seen, and when we stop carrying burdens that were never meant to be ours. That is why I do this work. To help you break free from the past, find clarity in who you are, and create relationships that actually feel safe and fulfilling.

My Therapy Style: Deep, Honest, and Transformative

Therapy with me isn’t about quick fixes or surface-level advice. It’s about understanding the deeper layers of who you are, why certain patterns keep showing up, and how to move forward in a way that feels authentic and empowering.

I approach therapy with both depth and directness—offering a space where you can unpack the emotions and beliefs that have shaped you while also challenging the narratives that no longer serve you. Expect a mix of insight, structure, and intuition as we work together to create real, lasting change.

  • I see the bigger picture. You’re more than just your struggles. I help you connect the dots between your past and present, recognizing the unconscious patterns that shape your emotions, choices, and relationships.

  • I balance emotion with strategy. Healing requires both deep self-reflection and practical tools. We’ll process what’s beneath the surface while also developing tangible ways to navigate life with more confidence and clarity.

  • I hold space for intensity. Some emotions feel too big, too complex, or too overwhelming. I guide you through these moments with compassion, patience, and the belief that your deepest pain holds the key to your greatest transformation.

  • I encourage self-trust and personal agency. I believe in your ability to heal and create a life that feels aligned. My role isn’t to give you all the answers, but to help you uncover them within yourself.

  • I integrate insight with growth. Awareness is powerful, but change happens when we apply that insight. Therapy with me is about moving from reflection to action—so you can truly step into the life you deserve.

If you’re looking for a space where you can be honest, challenged, and deeply supported on your path to healing, I’m here.

The Real Me (Because Therapists Are People Too)

When I am not helping clients heal and grow, I am doing my own self-care routine, which includes snuggling my two fur babies, Layla and Eva, watching random Netflix shows, and making sure I have enough social battery time to recharge.

If we are talking childhood obsessions, I was that kid who believed I could morph into a Power Ranger, had a deep *N’SYNC versus Backstreet Boys debate going at all times, and later entered my nu-metal era with Korn and Incubus on repeat. No regrets. Music, nostalgia, and finding meaning in the little things. That is me.

And because I practice what I preach, I also go to therapy myself. Healing is not a one time thing. It is a lifelong process of growth, reflection, and self discovery.

If You’re Ready, I’m Here

I know what it’s like to carry so much on your own, wondering if things will ever change. Maybe you’ve tried to push through, minimize your struggles, or tell yourself “it’s not that bad.” But deep down, you know something needs to shift. Therapy isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about giving yourself the space to figure things out with support that actually makes sense. You don’t have to do this alone. When you’re ready, I’m here to walk alongside you. Let’s take this next step together.
